Who we are
"Stateside Fab" refers to Stateside Fab Co., a Michigan LLC operating statesidefab.co and related subdomains from Battle Creek, Michigan. When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean Stateside Fab Co.
What you agree to
By using our site, placing an order, or subscribing to our newsletter, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use the site.
Orders & pricing
All prices are in US dollars. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors (if something lists for $3 instead of $30, we'll cancel and refund — we won't ship you a trash can for 10% of its cost).
Tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Orders are confirmed by email. A confirmation email does not obligate us to ship — we can decline and refund an order, in rare cases of fraud signals or stock issues.
Shipping & risk of loss
We ship via UPS from Battle Creek. Standard US orders arrive in 3–5 business days. International ships via UPS Worldwide Expedited or DHL depending on destination. Risk of loss transfers to you when the carrier scans the package as delivered.
If a package is lost in transit (tracking shows "delivered" but you don't have it, or tracking stalls >7 days), contact us and we'll either reship or refund.
Returns & warranty
30 days for any reason, free return shipping. Products must be in unused condition with original packaging — we can't resell a dented trash can.
Warranty: 1 year on finishes (Trashique powder-coat, O-Shit hardware). Warranties cover manufacturing defects, not damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, or acts of god. To start a warranty claim, use the contact form.
Accounts
Accounts are optional. If you create one, keep your password secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. Let us know if you suspect unauthorized use and we'll help you sort it.
Acceptable use
Don't do any of these things:
- Use the site for illegal activity or to harass anyone.
- Try to hack, scrape, or DDOS the site (or get someone else to).
- Misrepresent your identity during checkout.
- Reverse-engineer the products or impersonate the brand.
- Use our logos or marks without written permission.
Intellectual property
All content on the site — the brand, the product designs, the copy, the photos, the logos — is owned by Stateside Fab Co. or used with permission. You may not reproduce or republish any of it without written consent. User-generated content (reviews, tagged photos) remains yours, but you grant us a license to reshare it with attribution.
Limitation of liability
Our products are for indoor residential use. We're not liable for consequential or incidental damages beyond the purchase price of the product. O-Shit is an advisory sensor — it's designed to alert you to toilet leaks, but it's not a substitute for regular plumbing inspections or insurance. We recommend you have both.
Some states don't allow exclusion of incidental damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that can't be disclaimed under law.
Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute that can't be resolved by good-faith conversation will be handled in Calhoun County, Michigan.
